The preparations for the upcoming Bioceramics and Alternative Bearings in Joint Arthroplasty, 13th BIOlOX® Symposium are well underway. The Symposium is planned for September 4th and 5th 2009 in the City of Edinburgh, United Kingdom.
It is our hope that by holding this Symposium in the United Kingdom, it will serve as proper recognition and tribute to the many innovations and contributions that have been developed by the UK Orthopaedic Surgical Community.
This Symposium tries to continue the success of past Symposiums by offering a well structured and balanced program with ample opportunity for effective communication and interchange of information and ideas between all interested members of the global orthopaedic surgical community.
The Scientific Committee has evaluated scientific contributions on clinical usage and other topics of interest contributed through the “Call for Papers.” In addition to the scientific contributions received in this manner, the committee has complemented these by inviting recognised experts in the field in order to offer a well coordinated program. We hope that you will find the program to be of great value in your field of expertise.
